The Antidrot Telegram Bot: Give Keys From Your Phone and Share Access

The Antidrot Telegram bot is an access key generator on your phone. You enter your master key once, and after that you give your child time simply by sending the bot the one-time code from their screen. The bot also keeps a history of keys, handles several computers and lets you share access with a second parent (co-parent) or with your child — on a schedule you set.

What the bot can do

• generate access keys from a one-time code, with a preset or your own time in the S.R.M format;
• store several master keys — one for each computer — and switch between them;
• keep a history of issued keys for each master key;
• export and import master keys;
• give a second parent access via a one-time link without revealing the master key;
• issue keys to your child on a schedule, with a daily key limit;
• open the mini app, a key generator right inside Telegram.

It's just as important to understand what the bot doesn't do. Antidrot itself works offline, so the bot doesn't connect to your child's computer, can't see the screen and can't switch anything off remotely. It only calculates the key, which is then typed into the program's window.

How to connect the bot

1. If Antidrot isn't running yet, download it, run it on your child's computer and save the master key. The steps are in Antidrot first launch and the master key.
2. Open the bot — the link is on the Telegram bot page.
3. On first start, the bot suggests downloading the program and asks for your master key. If you have several computers, enter all the master keys separated by commas.
4. Tap “Continue”, and the menu opens.

From then on you don't need to keep the master key at hand: the bot fills it in for you. But don't throw the master key away — you'll need it if you ever want to close the program on the computer.

How to give a key from your phone

1. In the menu, tap “⚡ Generate key”.
2. Send the one-time code: the 4 red characters from the Antidrot window. Your child can read it out to you or send a photo of the screen.
3. Choose a preset or type your own time in the S.R.M format, for example 2700.900.10800. That's 45 minutes of play, a 15-minute break and a 3-hour total limit.
4. The bot sends you the finished key. It goes into the window's field, followed by a click on “Unlock”.

A key works only once: it only fits the code currently on screen, and the code changes after the key is entered. How keys are built and how to convert hours to seconds is explained in Access key: how to give your child time.

The mini app

If you'd rather fill in a form than chat with the bot, tap “📱 Open mini app” in the menu. It's a key generator inside Telegram, with a paged history of issued keys. It only opens from the bot: access is verified through Telegram, so you can't open it from a link in a browser. For working without Telegram there's a separate web key generator that runs right in your browser.

Several computers in one bot

Each copy of Antidrot has its own master key. If your family has two computers, or your children have their own laptops, add all the master keys to the bot. The menu lets you add, select and delete them with “➕ Add key”, “🔄 Select key” and “🗑 Delete key”. Before generating a key, check that the right master key is selected: a key calculated for another computer won't work.

If you set up a new master key, add it to the bot and delete the old one. That way the list won't get confusing.

History, export and import

For each master key, the bot keeps a history of issued keys under “📜 History”. It shows which keys you've already given and with what time. This is handy when two adults hand out time and you want the full picture rather than relying on memory.

“📤 Export” gives you all your master keys in one line, separated by commas; you'll need it to move them to another bot. The line can be pasted via “📥 Import” or on first start, when the bot asks for master keys. Treat it like a set of passwords: don't forward it to group chats and don't store it on your child's computer.

Second parent: access without the master key

With “🤝 Share access” you can connect a second parent (co-parent). The bot creates a one-time link; with it, the second parent joins and can give keys but never sees the master key itself. This is handy when you're at work and your child is at home with the other parent: you don't have to read the master key out over the phone and then wonder who else knows it.

Child access on a schedule

In the same “🤝 Share access” section you can give access to your child. The parent sets three things:

• time in the S.R.M format: how much play time, how long the break and what total limit;
• schedule: on which days and at what hours your child can get a key;
• daily key limit.

For example: the schedule mon-fri 16:00-18:00, the time 3600.600.10800 and 1 key per day. On weekdays between 16:00 and 18:00, your child enters the one-time code from the screen and gets a key: 1 hour of play, a 10-minute break, a 3-hour total limit. They can't choose a different time and won't get a second key the same day. You get a notification when they do.

Keep one detail in mind: the schedule decides when a key can be obtained, while the total limit counts from the moment the key is entered. If your child gets a key at 17:30, the three-hour limit ends at 20:30. If that's when homework or getting ready for bed should start, reduce M or shift the schedule.

This mode works well once the rules have been discussed: your child knows when and how much they can play and doesn't have to wait for a parent with a phone. How to agree on the rules is covered in A family screen time agreement.

If a key from the bot doesn't work

The cause is usually simple and easy to find in a minute:

• The wrong master key is selected. If there are several computers in the bot, check which one the key was calculated for.
• The code has already changed. The one-time code changes every time the window reappears and after a key is accepted. If the window has hidden and appeared again, ask your child to send the new code.
• A typo in the code. The one-time code can contain both letters and digits, so double-check what's on screen: a zero or the letter O, a one or the letter I.
• The key was typed incorrectly. It's safer to copy the key and paste it into the field whole. Letter case doesn't matter, but an extra or missing digit does.

The input field clears after every attempt, so you can calmly enter the key again, this time without mistakes.

Security: who sees what

The mini app only opens from the bot, and access is verified through Telegram. Your child's computer doesn't need the internet: the program doesn't send data, doesn't take screenshots and doesn't read messages. There are two things to guard: the master key itself and the export line. With them, anyone can give any amount of time.
