What is Antidrot?
Antidrot (also nicknamed Antizadrot) is a free program for Windows 10 and 11 that shows a break window on top of games on a timer. The parent sets play time, breaks and the total limit with a one-time access key.
How much does the program cost?
The program is free. The key generator on the website is free too.
How do I install the program?
Download the installer, copy it to a USB flash drive and run it on your child's computer — it installs everything itself. After that the program starts automatically every time the computer is turned on.
Which versions of Windows does Antidrot run on?
Windows 10 version 1703 and later, and Windows 11, 64-bit.
Does Antidrot close the game?
No. The window sits on top of the game but doesn't take over control: the game can be paused, saved or the round finished. The program doesn't force-close anything.
Does the window work over fullscreen and Vulkan games?
In windowed and borderless mode the window appears on top of the game. A game in exclusive fullscreen mode is minimized once before the window is shown — otherwise Windows wouldn't display the window over it.
What is a master key?
It is 8 characters that the program shows once, on first launch. With the master key the parent gives access keys, and entering it in the window reveals the “Close” button that shuts the program down completely.
What is a one-time code?
It is the 4 red characters in the program window. The code changes every time the window appears and after every accepted key. An access key is tied to the code, so it works only once.
How do I give my child time?
Enter the master key, the one-time code and the time in the key generator on the website or in the Telegram bot. You'll get a key like 3600.600.14400.C8FCE983 — your child enters it in the window and clicks “Unlock”.
What do the numbers in the key mean?
They are seconds: play time, break and total limit. 3600.600.14400 means an hour of play, a 10-minute break and 4 hours in total. The last part is a signature that protects the key from forgery.
Why is there a “Continue” button?
When the break is over, the window waits for “Continue” to be pressed. Until your child is back, play time isn't used up, so it isn't lost if they stepped away. The total limit keeps running, though.
Do I need an internet connection?
Not for the program. The key generator on the website calculates the key in your browser without sending any data. Only the Telegram bot needs internet.
Does Antidrot collect data about my child?
No. The program doesn't collect or send data, take screenshots, read messages or intercept the keyboard.
Can Antidrot be bypassed?
Yes, with some effort: the process can be ended in Task Manager. Antidrot is designed around a family agreement. For strict restrictions, use a child account without administrator rights.
What happens after a restart?
After a restart the program starts by itself. The total limit is reset: your child can finish the current period, and after the break the window stays until a new key.
Can I give time from my phone?
Yes, via the Telegram bot: it stores master keys, generates access keys and keeps a history. There is also a mini app inside Telegram.
Can a second parent give time too?
Yes. The bot has “Share access”: the second parent gets a one-time link and gives keys from their own phone without seeing the master key.
Can my child get a key on their own?
Yes, if you turn on child access in the bot: you set the time, the hours when a key can be received and a daily limit. Your child enters the code from the screen and gets a key with your time.
I lost the master key. What should I do?
The master key can't be recovered, so keep it safe — in the Telegram bot or a password manager. Without the master key you can neither give play time nor remove the program.
How do I uninstall Antidrot?
Run the installer from the flash drive again, enter the master key and click “Remove” — the installer takes everything off the computer itself. It can't be removed without the master key.
Are Antizadrot and Antidrot the same thing?
Yes, it is the same program. “Antizadrot” is its jokey Russian second name.
